Quo-Test HbA1c test reagent kit
Haemoglobin, the oxygen-carrying protein within erythrocytes, can undergo non-enzymatic glycation when exposed to circulating glucose. The resulting glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) reflects the degree of glycaemic exposure over time. Given the average erythrocyte lifespan of approximately 120 days, HbA1c measurement provides an integrated estimate of mean blood glucose levels over the preceding 6–8 weeks, offering a reliable marker for long-term glycaemic control.
How to Perform a Test
- Collect a 4µL blood sample
- Insert the sample collector into the Quo-Test cartridge
- Insert the cartridge into the analyser
- Results are displayed within 4 minutes
