Afias-3 is an advanced immunoassay analyser for multiple testing with all-in-one cartridge system. It is a versatile lateral flow immunoassay platform with three independent channels. AFIAS-3 enables three testing simultaneously therefore it can provide various panel testing. The disposable cartridge includes all the reagents necessary for the test. This small, compact, and light weight analyser has a quick turnaround for reliable results.

Afias 3 is a fluorescence and europium nanoparticle scanning instrument to be used in conjunction with various Afias tests which are based on antigen-antibody reaction and fluorescence technology. The analyser uses a semiconductor diode laser as the excitation light source for illuminating the sample loaded Afias cartridges inserted in the cartridge slot. The intensity of the fluorescence is scanned and converted to an electric signal which correlates to the concentration of the target analyte in the sample which is read by an on-board microprocessor.

The analyser can test several markers for Cardiac, Cancer, Diabetes, Hormone, Autoimmune, Organ Function, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring, Molecular Diagnostics, and various other tests. This light weight and easy to use analyser will fit into any clinic or lab.

With its bright, easy to read, touchscreen interface for rapid menu navigation and the ability to have the results printed, exported to USB, and / or uploaded to the user’s internal network, the Afias-3 will work well in any location. Providing results within an average time of 10 minutes, no matter whether the Afias-3 is in a GP Surgery, Accident and Emergency ward, Community Health Clinic, or lab conditions the analyser will provide accurate results.
