BHR Biosynex appointed exclusive UK distributor for TestCard UTI self-test kit

New partnership brings TestCard's app-read UTI self-test to BHR Biosynex's growing pharmacy and self-care portfolio

8 October 2026, Nuneaton - BHR Biosynex has entered into an exclusive distribution agreement with digital diagnostics company TestCard for the TestCard UTI self-test kit in the UK. The product will be officially launched by BHR Biosynex at The Pharmacy Show 2026.

Under the agreement, BHR Biosynex will become the exclusive UK distributor of the TestCard UTI self-test kit. BHR Biosynex will support the continued development of the product across pharmacy, retail and other relevant healthcare channels, while also taking responsibility for servicing TestCard's existing UK customer base. Existing customers will therefore benefit from continuity of supply and support through BHR Biosynex's established UK commercial, customer service and account management teams.

The TestCard UTI self-test is a digital at-home testing solution designed to make urinary tract infection testing simple and accessible. Each pack contains two tests and works with the TestCard app, which uses a compatible smartphone camera to read the test and provide an immediate, easy-to-interpret digital result. The test measures three urinary markers associated with UTI: leucocytes, nitrites and pH. The app also provides relevant guidance following the result, helping users understand the appropriate next step.

The agreement brings together TestCard's innovative digital testing technology and BHR Biosynex's established position in UK diagnostics and self-care, including its long-standing relationships with community pharmacy and other healthcare providers.
